Title deed fees (tapu harci) are mandatory charges paid during property ownership transfers in Turkey. Both the buyer and seller are responsible for paying their respective shares of the fee.

How Are Title Deed Fees Calculated?
Title deed transfer fees are calculated as a percentage of the declared sale price. Currently, both buyer and seller each pay 2% of the declared value, totaling 4%.
Important Notes
The declared value cannot be below the tax assessment value determined by the municipality. Additional fees such as revolving fund charges may also apply.
