Overtime work in Turkey is compensated at 1.5 times the normal hourly rate under the Labor Law. The standard weekly working time is 45 hours, and any work beyond this qualifies as overtime.

How Is Overtime Pay Calculated?
The hourly wage is derived from the monthly salary divided by 225 (45 hours x 5 weeks). Each overtime hour is then paid at 1.5 times this rate.
Annual Overtime Limit
Turkish labor law limits total annual overtime to 270 hours per employee. Weekend and holiday work may carry different multipliers as agreed in collective or individual contracts.
